Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant / Executive to support the full spectrum of HR functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in recruitment, payroll administration, employee lifecycle management, and HR operations, contributing to a positive and efficient workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job advertisements, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, preparing offers, and onboarding new hires
  • Conduct orientation programmes for new employees to ensure smooth integration into the organisation
  • Track and manage employee lifecycle movements such as confirmations, increments, promotions, and transfers
  • Maintain and update accurate employee records, including HR databases, personnel files (P-files), and other HR documentation
  • Handle payroll administration, including timesheet verification and ensuring accuracy of payroll data
  • Assist in manpower planning and rostering for external projects
  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities and company events
  • Administer government-related claims, grants, and funding applications
  • Manage applications, renewals, and cancellations of work passes for foreign employees
  • Support HR reporting and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HR generalist and administrative functions

Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented with strong administrative skills

Good knowledge of Singapore employment laws and manpower policies is an advantage

Experience handling work passes for foreign employees

Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Experience with HR systems such as Workday is a plus
