HR Assistant (6-month contract) (Renewable)

Our client is seeking an HR professional to manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee benefits, and administration, while ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies. The role also involves maintaining HR records, supporting policy development, and partnering with management on workforce planning and organizational decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including issuing employment contracts
  • Manage onboarding activities to ensure a smooth integration of new employees
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures in line with labour laws and company guidelines
  • Provide support in administering employee benefits, such as health insurance and other incentives
  • Handle daily HR administrative responsibilities, including maintaining accurate employee records
  • Ensure compliance with labour regulations by managing proper documentation for employment contracts, policies, and procedures
  • Work closely with management to deliver HR support and contribute to strategic human resource planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR operations
  • Solid understanding of general HR policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment and labour laws
  • Proficient in MS Office familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday) is an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous in work approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented and results-driven mindset
