Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and employment contract preparation.
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding procedures, including conducting employee orientation programs and managing exit clearances.
  • Support compensation and benefits administration, policy reviews, performance appraisals, and employee insurance management.
  • Address employee relations matters such as grievances, staff queries, and disciplinary cases.
  • Oversee work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations, as well as provide relocation support for expatriates.
  • Coordinate training and development activities, maintaining comprehensive training records.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including event planning and execution.
  • Prepare monthly reports, update employee records, and assist with various ad hoc projects, audits, and surveys.
  • Ensure compliance in payroll and leave processing, including preparation of relevant regulatory documents and general ledger entries.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for basic IT support, addressing user issues related to hardware diagnostics and general infrastructure.
  • Liaise with vendors for more complex IT matters and maintain IT asset inventory and software license records
  • Liaise with Japan HQ on updates and communications on IT related matters.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or an IT-related field, combined with relevant HR experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, ideally in a full spectrum or generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of local employment laws and HR practices.
  • Practical experience in end-to-end payroll processing is essential.
  • Demonstrated meticulousness, organizational skills, and robust problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Proficient in IT competency and handling basic technical issues.
