Opportunity to work in a renowned Retail MNC, and this role is responsible for the end-to-end operational delivery of Japan employee benefits and leave administration.

1 year contract (conversion subjected to performance and business directions)
The Talent
Degree or equivalent experience in HR/Operations.
Hands-on experience with Japan benefits + Japan leave administration.
Strong knowledge of Japan social insurance and statutory leave frameworks.
Professional proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken) is required to communicate with Japan-based employees/stakeholders and to interpret benefits/leave documentation.
Ability to work independently and own escalations.
The Job
Administer Japan benefits (social insurance enrollments/changes, dependent updates, life events).
Support Japan leave programs (statutory + company leave) and ensure correct payroll treatment.
Ensure compliance with Japanese labor/social insurance/leave regulations support audits.
Resolve employee inquiries through case management with clear, compliant, empathetic responses.
Maintain SOPs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
