Job Description HR Cum Administrative Intern

We are looking for a responsible and organised HR Intern to support the day-to-day administrative and office functions of the HR team. This role focuses mainly on office support, purchasing, documentation, and general HR administration, gather information on the trend of employment market, industry best practice, grant application etc. You will gain practical experience in real life working environment beyond HR routine.

Key Responsibilities

Office & Administrative Support

  • Assist with ordering office supplies and pantry items, including tracking inventory and liaising with suppliers

  • Compare prices, request quotations, and support simple purchase tracking

  • Maintain proper filing and organisation of physical and digital documents

  • Assist with meeting room bookings, basic office coordination, and logistics

  • Assist with tracking office equipment and supplies

  • Plan and organize the company's quarterly events and team bonding activities.

HR Administrative Support

  • Assist with maintaining and updating staff lists and basic HR records

  • Prepare onboarding materials and support administrative tasks for new joiners

  • Assist in drafting simple HR documents, letters, and internal notices

  • Search for suitable grant, and grant application submission to government portal

  • Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks assigned by the HR team

Learning Outcomes

  • Exposure to HR operations and office administration

  • Practical experience in office purchasing and vendor coordination

  • Improved organisational, documentation, and communication skills

  • Understanding of basic HR processes such as onboarding and record management

  • Understanding of how the government grant work

  • Understand the job posting channels and recruitment processes.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Organised, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative

  • Able to handle confidential information responsibly

  • Good communication skills and a positive learning attitude
