Job Responsibilities

1. Strategic Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for critical business functions, ensuring the acquisition of high-potential talent aligned with the organization's growth strategy.
  • Develop and implement the company's first formal Campus Recruitment Program in Singapore.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with local universities/polytechnics to build a sustainable pipeline of early-career talent.
  • Strengthen employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's visibility and reputation in the talent market.

2. Employee Relations & Culture (Primary Focus)

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the local HR & Admin team member, fostering a high-performance and development-oriented culture.
  • Proactively identify organizational challenges and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, collaboration, and retention.
  • Act as a cultural bridge between Global Headquarters and the Singapore organization, ensuring alignment with global values while respecting local practices.

3. Strategic Business Partnering

  • Partner with regional management to translate business objectives into workforce plans and talent development strategies.
  • Oversee the performance management framework and advise managers on goal-setting, feedback, performance improvement, and career development.

4. Compliance & Operational Oversight

  • Provide strategic oversight to ensure compliance with Singapore employment legislation and HR policies.
  • Supervise office operations and administrative matters, supported by the local HR & Admin specialist.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive and comprehensive HR management experience; experience within the internet, media, or multinational environment is highly preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and local HR practices, exposure to office administration is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to operate as a trusted business partner.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with headquarters and cross-regional stakeholders.
