Job Summary
The HR and Admin Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the human resources function within an organization. This includes developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, managing employee relations, recruiting and onboarding, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations. The HR Executive plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive work environment and supporting the organization's overall goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities by posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires to ensure timely staffing and compliance
- Oversee onboarding processes to facilitate smooth employee integration and adherence to company policies and legal requirements
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary procedures to maintain workforce effectiveness
- Design and conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews and bonus schemes, to maintain competitive and fair remuneration
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations by monitoring employment contracts, working hours, and leave policies
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR information systems to safeguard data integrity
- Handle employee grievances and mediate conflicts to promote a positive and collaborative work environment
- Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decision-making
- Stay informed on HR industry trends and best practices and recommend improvements to HR processes and policies
Required competencies and certifications
- Proven experience in HR roles with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and labor regulations
- Strong understanding of recruitment and selection techniques
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships across all organizational levels
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
