Nanyang Asia College is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented HR & Accounting Executive to manage the school's human resource and accounting functions. This role supports daily operations, staff administration, and financial record-keeping, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Human Resource (HR) Management
Manage and maintain the Human Resource function of the school.
Handle staff recruitment, interviews, onboarding, and employment documentation.
Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and maintain staff records.
Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding processes when required.
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and internal guidelines.
Handle staff attendance, leave records, and general HR administration.
Accounting & Finance
Manage the school's accounting and finance operations, including:
Collection of student fees and issuance of receipts
Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Budget preparation and expense tracking
Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements in a timely manner.
Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
Prepare and submit GST returns and related accounting reports.
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and service providers when required.
Administrative & Compliance Support
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and management requirements.
Support management with HR and financial reports when requested.
Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related disciplines.
IHRP certification and/or ACCA qualification is an advantage, but not mandatory.
Preferably with experience in HR and accounting functions, especially in an education or service environment.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Independent, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks.
