Job Summary
Support the Housekeeping Department by monitoring pest control, overseeing equipment maintenance, managing contractors, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, and guiding team performance to ensure a high-quality environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and promptly address pest control issues to maintain a vermin-free hotel environment
- Assist in maintaining and protecting all equipment used in the Housekeeping Department to ensure operational readiness
- Support the oversight of external contractors working within the hotel to ensure compliance and quality standards
- Assist in managing maintenance of plants, gardening, landscaping, and floral arrangements to enhance hotel aesthetics
- Help implement and maintain environmentally friendly practices across all Housekeeping Department operations
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas, including arrival and occupied rooms, and monitor VIP event setups for quality assurance
- Inspect Room Attendant trolleys, pantries, and Public Area storage spaces regularly to ensure proper arrangement and upkeep
- Ensure completion and follow-up of all Housekeeping Department work orders related to equipment and maintenance
- Conduct performance appraisals for Line associates, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their development
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all Housekeeping documentation for operational transparency
