Job Responsibilities
Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and service-oriented guest experiences.
Supervise Front Office operations including reception, cashiering, reservations, telephone services, and baggage handling.
Monitor staff performance, conduct, and service standards to maintain a professional guest experience.
Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and service recovery in a prompt and professional manner.
Support guest check-in and check-out processes when required.
Coordinate VIP arrivals, including room inspections and ensuring amenities are prepared prior to arrival.
Review shift logbooks and follow up on operational matters at the start of each shift.
Monitor housekeeping discrepancy reports and coordinate corrective actions where necessary.
Manage operational issues and coordinate with relevant departments including security and housekeeping.
Authorize room and rate adjustments, paid-outs, and other transactions in accordance with hotel policies.
Support training and development of Front Office team members through on-the-job training.
Conduct operational checks across hotel outlets when required.
Monitor room inventory and collaborate with sales teams to optimize occupancy and revenue.
Support emergency procedures and assist in evacuation protocols when required.
Perform other operational duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or related discipline.
At least 2-3 years of Front Office or supervisory experience in the at least 4-Star hotel industry.
Familiarity with Opera PMS or other hotel management systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Customer-focused with the ability to handle guest concerns effectively.
Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Relevant hospitality certifications (e.g., service excellence, operations, leadership training) will be an advantage.
