Job Description

Job Highlights

  • Location: Central, Downtown

  • Salary: Up to $4,500 (depending on experience)

  • Working Hours: 5-day work week rotating shift work

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and service-oriented guest experiences.

  • Supervise Front Office operations including reception, cashiering, reservations, telephone services, and baggage handling.

  • Monitor staff performance, conduct, and service standards to maintain a professional guest experience.

  • Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and service recovery in a prompt and professional manner.

  • Support guest check-in and check-out processes when required.

  • Coordinate VIP arrivals, including room inspections and ensuring amenities are prepared prior to arrival.

  • Review shift logbooks and follow up on operational matters at the start of each shift.

  • Monitor housekeeping discrepancy reports and coordinate corrective actions where necessary.

  • Manage operational issues and coordinate with relevant departments including security and housekeeping.

  • Authorize room and rate adjustments, paid-outs, and other transactions in accordance with hotel policies.

  • Support training and development of Front Office team members through on-the-job training.

  • Conduct operational checks across hotel outlets when required.

  • Monitor room inventory and collaborate with sales teams to optimize occupancy and revenue.

  • Support emergency procedures and assist in evacuation protocols when required.

  • Perform other operational duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or related discipline.

  • At least 2-3 years of Front Office or supervisory experience in the at least 4-Star hotel industry.

  • Familiarity with Opera PMS or other hotel management systems.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Customer-focused with the ability to handle guest concerns effectively.

  • Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Relevant hospitality certifications (e.g., service excellence, operations, leadership training) will be an advantage.
