Host to Host Application Developer (Java)

We are looking for a Java Developer to support Host-to-Host (H2H) integrations and file transfer processes between systems. The role involves working with Linux environments, querying databases, and performing server-to-server or system-to-system data exchanges. On-the-job training will be provided for IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.

Shift / Work Hours:

. Occasional support outside of regular working hours (evenings or weekends) may be required for deployments, system maintenance, or critical issue resolution.

. Time off or off-in-lieu will be provided in accordance with Singapore Employment Act.

Key Responsibilities:

. Design, develop, and maintain H2H integrations and file transfer processes (server-to-server, system-to-system, or point-to-point).

. Execute Linux commands and perform basic system operations.

. Query and retrieve data from databases as needed for troubleshooting and integration tasks.

. Document integration processes, technical solutions, and system configurations clearly and accurately.

. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.

. Learn and adopt new tools and technologies, including IBM Sterling B2B Integrator through on-the-job training.

Requirement:

. Strong Java programming skills (knowledge of other programming languages is a plus).

. Experience working in Linux environments, including running commands.

. Ability to query and manipulate data in databases.

. Experience with file transfers between servers or systems.

. Willingness to learn new technologies, including IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.

. Good communication and team collaboration skills.
