We are looking for a skilled and motivated Horticulturist to join our landscape operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in landscape maintenance and horticulture, with a passion for developing innovative and sustainable landscape solutions. This role will involve both supervisory and technical responsibilities across multiple work sites.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise all horticultural and landscaping works at assigned sites
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to plan and manage resources (e.g., manpower, equipment)
- Liaise with clients, officers, and management agents regarding site activities, meetings, and feedback
- Develop and implement creative and sustainable landscaping solutions
- Advise clients on horticultural practices, plant health, and mitigation measures
- Support the onboarding and training of new gardeners
- Provide guidance and performance expectations to gardening teams
- Prepare schedules and regular progress reports for assigned sites
- Enforce workplace safety and health standards at all times
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks, including sales support when required
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Landscape Design and Horticulture or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in landscape maintenance and horticulture
- Certified Practising Horticulturist (CPH) qualification is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of horticultural practices, plant care, and pest/disease management
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and managing site operations
- Willing to attend to urgent matters outside regular working hours, when necessary
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)`
