Greenphyto Pte Ltd is at the forefront of sustainable urban farming. We are looking for a highly skilled HorticulturalSpecialist to lead our cultivation efforts. At Greenphyto, we don't just grow vegetables we engineer environments.
In this role, you will be the brain behind our vertical systems, balancing biological needs with technical precision to ensure our high-yield produce meets the gold standard for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibrate and manage automated fertigation systems. You will be responsible for the precision dosing of nutrient reservoirs.
- System/Process optimization to improve crop health and productivity
- CEA parameters controlled and mapping for various type of crops
- Data analyst and research on grow pattern, detect anomalies.
- Data driven problem solving and decision making (periodic and systematic data collection, AI quality report analysis and action)
- Reports formation.
- Documentation for knowledge retention
- Conduct DOE for continuous improvement
- Production support, food safety and security, pests/diseases control
- Assist farm manager to achieve
1. Increase gross weight per square meter
2. Increase number of turns or shorten grow cycle
3. Loss rate reduction
4. Production business process
Who You Are
- 3+ years in a commercial hydroponic or CEA (Controlled Environment Agriculture) facility.
- Strong grasp of plant physiology and the chemistry of mineral nutrition.
- Proficiency with climate control software and sensor calibration.
- High attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for sustainable tech.
- You are excited by the intersection of biology and big data. You want your code to result in more food, not just more clicks.
- You enjoy working with a diverse team of agronomists, mechanical engineers, and software developers.
Qualifications
Diploma in Applied Science (Urban Agricultural Technology) or Diploma in Landscape Design & Horticulture or WSQ Basic Urban Farming with Hydroponics
