Home Appliances Repair & Servicing Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of home appliances (e.g. washing machines, refrigerators, dryers, ovens, dishwashers).
- Perform installation and servicing of appliances when required.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to improve appliance performance and lifespan.
- Communicate with clients to explain issues, solutions and provide post-job updates.
- Ensure proper care and safe-keeping of hand tools, spare parts and service equipment.
- Prepare detailed service reports for customer's acknowledgement.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues.
- Handle any ad-hoc projects and duties assigned by reporting manager and/or management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess a Singapore Class 3 driving license will be an added advantage.
- Minimum Nitec / NTC 2 or 3 in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electronic fields.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in servicing home appliances OR consumer electronic products preferred. I
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Candidates without experience are welcome to join as apprentices (training provided)
