The Opportunity
- Adecco is partnering our client, a famous Tech MNC
- We are looking for a High Precision Mapping Specialist
- The role will start out as a contract
- Candidates who are immediately available/ able to start work within short notice will be preferred
The Talent
- Qualification in Computer Science, IT, or Geography-related space.
- 2-3 years of data processing experience in a fast-paced environment performing geospatial analysis and automation processes.
- Proficient in computer software ie. G-suite (GDocs, Gsheets, etc)
- Strong communication skills
- Passionate about maps with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and highly motivated individual who can drive continuous project improvement
- Strong project management, cross-department communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented, metrics-driven, and understands how maps influence the product & customer experience.
- Having Class 3/3A license will be a plus
- Familiar with tools such as QGIS and Spatial datasets
Job Description
- Collecting data using proprietary software & internal tools
Process spatial datasets through AI mapmaking pipelines- Generate high-precision map features including:
- Road geometry
- Lane structures
- Building footprints
- Points of Interest
- Review and validate AI-generated map outputs
- Identify and correct mapping errors through manual verification
- Work with large-scale geospatial datasets including imagery and LiDAR
- Support continuous improvement of automated map generation workflows
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize map production processes
- Ensure mapping outputs meet high accuracy standards for Singapore
- Monitoring, analyzing & grading large sets of geo data regular validation
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of our mapping team, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality geo data to our clients.
- Perform regular quality checks, where applicable
- To adhere to company's confidentiality procedures & policies when collecting, storing and sharing data
- Assist other members of the team with the mapping process and ensure that all aspects are completed accurately and efficiently
