Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Helpdesk Analyst to provide first-line IT support while gaining exposure to infrastructure and operational initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your technical expertise within a dynamic professional services environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and system-related issues.
- Troubleshoot Windows devices, Microsoft 365 applications, printers, and connectivity issues.
- Manage incidents and service requests through the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution within service levels.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, device provisioning, and access management.
- Assist with software installation, updates, and end-user device maintenance.
- Support meeting rooms and events with audio-visual setup and troubleshooting.
- Monitor IT systems, respond to alerts, and escalate complex issues where required.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to support smooth IT operations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- NITEC, Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or End-User Computing roles.
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 and mobile devices.
- Experience in remote troubleshooting and user support.
- Exposure to Windows Server environments.
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of stakeholders and users.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
GOOD TO HAVE:
- Exposure to endpoint management tools.
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge (e.g., PowerShell).
- Understanding of patch management, access control principles, and IT security best practices.
