About the Role
AVM Capital is a MAS-licensed discretionary global macro hedge fund. We are hiring an Operations Analyst to own and manage the day-to-day operational infrastructure of the firm. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role suited to someone who thrives in a lean, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end trade operations including capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation across listed and OTC instruments
- Daily liaison with prime brokers and fund administrator on positions, cash, and NAV
- Margin management, collateral monitoring, and counterparty exposure reporting
- Automation and improvement of operational workflows (Python preferred)
- MAS regulatory reporting and compliance support
- Fund expense tracking, invoice processing, and operational budgeting
- Annual audit coordination
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hedge fund operations experience, ideally macro or multi-strategy
- Strong understanding of listed derivatives (futures, options) and OTC instruments (swaps, FX forwards)
- Coding proficiency - Python strongly preferred
- Experience with trade and portfolio management systems Enfusion is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with MAS regulatory requirements is advantageous
- High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, ability to work independently
