Hedge Fund Investment and Risk Internship

We are currently looking for a highly motivated intern to join our expanding Singapore team. This internship will offer a unique opportunity to work cross investment and risk functions, providing a comprehensive understanding of how hedge funds operate.

About the Role

As an intern, you will collaborate directly with our investment and risk teams to support macro and credit research, trade idea generation, as well as portfolio risk analysis. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of our research and risk data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

. Assist the Investment team in analysing investments and formulating investment strategies

. Conduct research and extract insights from different types of datasets to support both investment and risk decisions

. Pro-actively look out for new ideas and opportunities to help the team uncover emerging market themes and innovate on existing investment and risk processes

. Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions with actionable insights

. Develop and maintain quantitative models to track macro or sectoral developments, and to evaluate the fund's risk profiles

Requirements

. Deep interest in investment and macroeconomics, as well as strong eagerness to learn and grow within the hedge fund industry

. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

. A motivated self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

. Excellent communication and teamwork skills

. Strong quantitative skills and background in mathematics/sciences/computing/economics would be a plus
