Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will revolve around three core areas:
1.Pipeline Development & Deal Sourcing
You will be at the forefront of building our investment pipeline, identifying and assessing high-potential healthcare businesses across Southeast Asia. This role places you in direct contact with founders, advisors, and industry leaders, offering rare, front-row exposure to how private equity investors originate opportunities, form early investment views, and position themselves ahead of competitive processes.
Conductmarket landscaping andsector deep-diveshealthcare sub-sectors
Build meaningfulwith key bankers, advisors, founders, and other ecosystem participants
Support proactive sourcingeffortsaligned with LeapFrog's investment strategy
Performpreliminary screening, financial analysis, andcompany assessments
Maintain andrefine the healthcare investment pipeline and tracking systems
2.Due Diligence & Transaction Execution
You willbe actively involvedin live deal execution, tackling complex analytical and strategic questions that shape high-stakes investment decisions. Working alongside senior investors, you will gain direct exposure to how institutional capital is deployed, challenged, and ultimately committed,experiencing firsthand the rigor and discipline behind every investment decision.
Develop investment theses across healthcare verticals, sectors, and geographies
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and commercial assessments
Reviewcompany information and participate in management discussions and site visits
Manage and coordinate third-party due diligence advisors
Build and maintain detailed financial models
Support valuation, structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions
Prepareinvestmentmaterials, transaction documents,external presentations, etc.
3.Portfolio Management & Value Creation
Beyond transactions, you willhelp shapethe growth of our portfolio companies. Working closely with management teams and senior investors, you will contribute to strategic initiatives, operational enhancements, and board-level priorities that drive measurable impact and financial performance. This is where investing meets execution, offering insight into howinvestorscreate sustained value beyond the initial deal.
Support post-investment portfolio management activities across healthcare investments
Work closely withcompany management to implement value-creation initiatives
Contribute to board materials, strategic projects, and performance monitoring
Assist with portfolio reporting to the fund's Limited Partners (LPs)
Supportmanagement of theteam's systems, processes, and knowledgetools
Engage in consultative, solutions-orientedcollaboration with portfolio companies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Prior experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, corporate development, healthcare operations, or a related analytical role is preferred
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear investment materials
High level of professionalism,maturity, and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders
Strong ownership mindset and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
