Healthcare/Clinic Typist

Job Description

Responsibilities:

-Listen to the recorded dictation of doctors.

-Transcribe and interpret the dictation into diagnostic test results and reports.

-Make sure the transcription is correct, complete and has a consistent style.

-Identify inconsistencies, error and missing information within a report that could compromise patient care.

-Submit health records to physicians for approval.

-Follow patient confidentiality/guidelines and legal documentation requirements.

-Filing and upload transcribed reports.

-Any other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

-At least GCE N/ O Levels, Professional Certificate/ NiTEC, Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma in any field

-Related working experience in healthcare and understanding of medical terminology/ abbreviations/ jargon will be an added advantage

-Strong computer/typing skills. Proficient in MS Office Advantage

-Meticulous, eye for details, precise, organised and efficient

-Good communication and interpersonal skill

-Effective team player and able to work in fast paced environment

-5.5 days work week (Monday to Friday Half Saturday)

-Location: Orchard
