Job Description
- Triage patients
- Oral & written translation from native language into English
- Obtain history of ailments from patients
- Physically examine the patients
- Diagnose the medical conditions
- Manage simple acute diseases and chronic medical problems such as diabetes, mellitus, hypertension and hyperlipidemia
- Provide health education
- Dispense basic medications
- Basic mental health screening
- Basic resuscitation
- Nasal/Oropharyngeal swabbing
- Performing point-of-care tests such as ECG, hypocount and urine dipstick
- Performing intramuscular and intravenous injections
- Administering direct observed therapy for tuberculosis patients
- Any other duties assigned
Job Requirements
- Possess a basic medical degree
- Possess a valid practising certificate issued by the regulatory body in the country where the basic medical or nursing degree was conferred (if applicable)
- Have a certificate of good standing issued by the regulatory body in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable)
- Show proof of English Language proficiency
