Healthcare Assistant

1. JOB PURPOSE

The jobholder is responsible in providing personal services for clients requiring care to continue living at home and in the community and support caregivers in the care of their frail and home-bound seniors. This include services such as befriending, pottering, escorting and other personal care tasks that best meet the client's needs.

2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

• Assist and Supervise elderly clients in their activities
• Assist in positioning, transfers and ambulating of clients
• Communication with patients, relatives and carers
• Food ration, Needs Assessment, Service (Befriending)
• Participates in Projects and Community Programmes
• Any other tasks as assigned by the Manager
