Kurita Singapore is hiring an HSE professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive workplace safety, health, and environmental (HSE) compliance across all operations.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Monitor regulatory and MOM WSH updates and implement required changes in a timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to MOM WSH requirements and support ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 management system activities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE programmes, procedures, and initiatives.
- Conduct safety inductions, orientations, and WSH training for employees and contractors.
- Lead toolbox meetings and safety briefings to promote safe work practices.
- Identify WSH non‑compliances, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, and initiate corrective actions.
- Conduct routine workplace inspections and hazard identification and risk assessments.
- Plan and conduct internal HSE audits and monitor safety performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and maintain HSE‑related permits, reports, registers, logs, and meeting minutes.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date HSE documentation and records.
- Coordinate and follow up on safety meetings, including GSC/ASC actions and initiatives.
- Coordinate ISO audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings and follow‑up actions.
Qualifications Required:
- Education: Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience.
Preference:
- Knowledge on ISO Quality Management Systems.
- Good teamwork, discipline and approachable with a decent working attitude.
- Comfortable working in multicultural team.
- Able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin.
