Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Live Nation is opening a new, purpose-built mid-sized live music venue in Singapore with a capacity of 3,000. The venue is designed to host international touring acts, local artists and ancillary content including comedy, community and private-hire events. It will also include secondary performance and activation spaces, together with a public-facing café and bar.

This role stands up the Live Nation Venues Technology & Data vertical, focused on Grange House in Singapore. Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Venue Technology & Data covers commerce systems (POS, payments, ticketing and access integration), customer data and CRM, connectivity, screens and signage, and the production systems delivered day to day by the Production Manager. The role treats technology as a revenue driver and a data asset, connecting information across systems such as POS, ticketing, WiFi and production to grow revenue and fan insight.

During pre-opening, the role leads vendor selection, systems integration and commissioning alongside the appointed systems integrator, and gets the venue ready to open. Once open, the role manages the venue's systems and vendors, line-manages the Production Manager, and works closely with Live Nation group technology teams.

The role will support regional leadership across Tides (Hong Kong) and Impact Arena (Bangkok) with technology integration and upgrades, and will be a key stakeholder in the wider Asia venue pipeline. There is scale to grow into a regional technology role across multiple venues once Grange House is stabilised.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pre-Opening Delivery

  • Lead the venue technology programme through procurement, installation, commissioning and opening, working with the project team and systems integrator.
  • Manage the technology budget across fit-out and ongoing operations.
  • Make sure systems connect to each other and share data, rather than operating as standalone tools.
  • Set up the post-opening operating model, including AV partner scope, IT support, maintenance and asset management.

Vendors, RFPs & Third-Party Risk

  • Run vendor selection for major systems: requirements, RFPs, demos, scored comparisons and a clear recommendation for approval.
  • Negotiate contracts, service levels and pricing, using regional scale across Asia venues where possible.
  • Take vendors through Live Nation's Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) process before signing, and manage ongoing reviews.
  • Align vendor choices with wider Live Nation IT initiatives and standards, involving LNDT, LN IT and other key LN stakeholders early in each process.
  • Keep an approved vendor list with pricing benchmarks and evaluation records for reuse across venues, and manage vendor performance through regular reviews.

Revenue

  • Manage customer-facing transaction systems, including POS, payments, mobile ordering, kiosks, loyalty and ticketing and access integration.
  • Build the venue's data picture across its four data domains (commerce, content, customer and compliance): CRM integration, WiFi data capture, dashboards and reporting.
  • Work with Commercial and Partnerships teams to use screens, WiFi and app placements as sponsorship inventory.
  • Lead data and analytics integration with promoters, agencies and brands, covering settlement, reporting and agreed data sharing. This is critical to how the venue commercialises its data.
  • Manage POS and data integration with the venue's F&B partner, including turnover verification, the agreed scope of customer data sharing, PDPA compliance, restrictions on use of data from the venue's ticketing and CRM systems, and data retention and deletion obligations.

Experience Infrastructure

  • Oversee AV, LED, signage and connectivity, with event advance, show delivery and AV partner coordination led by the Production Manager, as set out in the Production Manager job description.
  • Manage the venue's key content platforms: web, mobile and social on the digital side, in close overlap with LNDT, and LED and signage on the physical side.
  • Own the venue CMS and DAM platforms, including which vendors we use and why, and coordinate with the marketing, content and booking teams on in-venue content; the Production Manager runs the CMS on show days.
  • Keep documentation of systems, integrations and procedures up to date.
  • Bring in new technology where it clearly improves experience, efficiency or revenue.

Operations & Compliance

  • Manage operations systems in coordination with LN IT, including the master calendar, staff scheduling and venue management tools.
  • Work with Facilities and Event Operations on access control, CCTV, and emergency and evacuation systems.
  • Oversee noise and environmental monitoring to keep the venue compliant.

Group & Regional Support

  • Act as the venue's point of contact with LNDT (website, mobile app, POS and integrations), LN IT (day-to-day IT support) and other key LN stakeholders, making sure nothing falls between teams.
  • Support technology audits and shared standards at Impact Arena (Bangkok) and Tides (Hong Kong).
  • Provide technology input to new venue projects during design, including Seoul and Tokyo.

Leadership

  • Line-manage the Production Manager, with the AV partner and freelance crew coordinated through that role.
  • Help venue teams get confident with the systems they use.
  • Look after data privacy, security and incident response together with group IT.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least eight years in venue, entertainment, hospitality or similar customer-facing technology roles.
  • Experience delivering a technology fit-out or major systems project through to opening or go-live.
  • Comfortable running vendor selections, negotiating contracts and managing budgets.
  • Good working knowledge across POS and payments, ticketing, networks, AV and displays, and data platforms, with real depth in at least one area.
  • Able to connect data across systems and explain what it means for revenue and operations.
  • A strong communicator across operations, commercial, finance and group technology teams.
  • Willing to travel in the region and flex hours around events when needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience opening or mobilising a new venue or comparable facility.
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms, cashless solutions, CRM platforms or venue apps.
  • Understanding of Singapore PDPA and payment standards such as PCI DSS.
  • Enthusiasm for building user-focused products across platforms and using technology intentionally.
  • Enthusiasm for live music and entertainment.
