Head of Treasury, Corporate Banking

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Singapore branch's Treasury function, ensuring compliance with Bank policies, Head Office guidelines, delegated authorities, and regulatory requirements while overseeing liquidity management and treasury operations.
• Provide strategic treasury leadership by analysing market trends, liquidity positions, and financial markets, delivering business insights and recommendations to Branch Management and the Asset & Liability Management Committee (ALCO).
• Supervise and develop the Treasury team by allocating responsibilities, providing coaching and performance management, and ensuring effective execution of treasury transactions within authorised limits and internal controls.
• Drive the Branch's Asset & Liability Management function, serving as a key member of ALCO and other governance committees, while monitoring market developments and reporting significant risks and operational matters.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, regulators, and market participants to support business growth, enhance treasury performance, and strengthen the Bank's market presence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in treasury, financial markets, or corporate banking, with proven leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of treasury products, liquidity management, asset and liability management, and financial markets.
• Business-level proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, counterparties, and regional stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a sound understanding of applicable regulatory requirements.
