Treasury Leader, Wholesale Banking
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the treasury function, overseeing liquidity management, funding activities, treasury operations, and financial market activities in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic market insights and recommendations to senior management, supporting balance sheet management, treasury strategy, and business growth initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop the treasury team while fostering a strong risk and control culture and ensuring operational excellence.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with financial institutions, regulators, and key stakeholders, while participating in governance committees to support sound risk management and organisational objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in treasury, financial markets, or corporate banking, with proven leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of treasury products, liquidity management, asset and liability management, and financial markets.
- Business-level proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, counterparties, and regional stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a sound understanding of applicable regulatory requirements.
