What You'll Lead & Deliver
You will be responsible for elevating the performance, safety, and cost efficiency of our national transport operations.
You will apply your strengths in:
- Transport network design to create effective and scalable country-wide solutions across all DHL business units.
- Operational standardization by defining bestinclass service levels, processes, commercial terms, and IT solutions.
- Large-scale operations management, ensuring consistent execution through nationwide templates and technology.
- Multimodal transport expertise including FTL, LTL, Milk-Run, MUF network, and Metro delivery models.
- Fleet management, including investment planning, driver operations, and vehicle utilization.
- Vendor and subcontractor management, creating partnerships that deliver safety, reliability, and cost performance.
- Safety leadership, ensuring compliance with legal and fleet safety requirements.
- Digitalization and data analytics, enabling KPI-driven decision-making and transport performance optimization.
- Performance management, setting targets and driving continuous improvement.
- People leadership, building high-performance teams and nurturing future talent.
What You Bring
Success in this role requires a combination of strategic leadership and strong operational capability.
We're looking for professionals with:
- 10+ years of leadership experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or similarly complex operations.
- Deep understanding of fleet operations, capacity management, and transport cost models.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end transport operations for multiple customers.
- Demonstrated strength in change management and implementation of improvement initiatives.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to influence across levels.
- Excellent analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English communication
