Redstone Commodity Search are partnering with a commodity trading group seeking a Head of Trade Finance & Treasury to join their team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced trade finance and treasury professional to lead funding strategy, banking relationships, and liquidity management across a fast-paced trading business, supporting commercial growth and global trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treasury and trade finance strategies to support business growth, working capital requirements, and trading activities.
• Lead relationships with banks, financial institutions, and lending partners, securing and optimising financing facilities across the business.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and capital allocation to ensure efficient funding of commercial operations.
• Partner with trading, operations, and finance teams to provide funding solutions for physical commodity transactions and manage financial risk exposure.
• Drive treasury transformation initiatives, enhancing reporting, controls, processes, and overall operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in treasury, trade finance, or structured finance within a commodity trading, banking, or related environment.
• Strong understanding of trade finance instruments, working capital management, liquidity planning, and banking products.
• Demonstrated track record of negotiating and managing credit facilities, borrowing structures, and financial partnerships.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance risk management considerations alongside business objectives.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic international environment.
