The Chief System Assurance Officer's (CSAO) organization is responsible for establishing a Global Sovereign System Assurance Framework, ensuring that Ant International's cross-border payment systems are intrinsically Visible, Controllable, Verifiable, Auditable, and Sustainable.
Head of System Assurance (Governance) will lead Ant International's global technology regulatory alignment and assurance programs. This role ensures that the company's cross-border financial infrastructure is fully technical compliant, auditable, and aligned with international regulatory and certification standards.
The role serves as the primary technology interface with regulators, certification bodies, and audit institutions, and plays a critical role in enabling Ant International's global expansion and regulatory credibility. Own global technology compliance and assurance, ensuring Ant International is regulator-trusted, audit-ready, and sovereign by design.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Technology Regulatory Alignment & Framework Leadership
• Lead end-to-end technology regulatory mapping and alignment across global frameworks, including: NYDFS, DORA, EU AI Act, GDPR, CLOUD Act, and other jurisdictional requirements
• Maintain and evolve the International GRC technology framework and global regulatory mapping matrix
• Ensure consistent policy-as-code and compliance-as-code implementation across systems
2. Audit, Certification & Assurance
• Oversee global technology audits, certifications, and independent validations, including: ISO standards, NIST frameworks, PCI DSS, SOC2, and regional requirements
• Establish audit-ready, real-time compliance evidence systems
• Coordinate internal audit, external auditors, and third-party assurance providers
3. Regulator Engagement & External Representation
• Serve as the primary technology liaison to regulators (e.g., EU, UK, US, and APAC authorities)
• Lead regulatory inspections, technical deep-dives, and assurance discussions
• Represent Ant International in industry forums, regulatory working groups, and standard bodies
4. Governance, Reporting & Executive Communication
• Prepare Board-level and executive reporting on technology risk, compliance posture, and assurance maturity
• Develop regulator-grade dashboards and control tower views
• Translate complex technical compliance into clear, actionable executive insights
5. Thought Leadership & Policy Development
• Author technology white papers, regulatory position papers, and internal policies
• Define global technology compliance standards and best practices
• Drive innovation in AI-driven compliance, automated assurance, and verifiable systems
6. Global Coordination & Operating Model
• Partner with Regional Assurance Hubs (EU / UK / US / APAC) to ensure consistent implementation
• Align with Engineering, Security, Risk, Legal, and Cloud teams
• Embed compliance into system design, development lifecycle (DevSecOps), and operations
