Role Purpose
Lead NTUC LearningHub's Sustainability Sector strategy by identifying emerging sustainability workforce needs, developing sector-relevant learning and capability solutions, building strategic partnerships, and growing sustainable business opportunities that support Singapore's green economy transition.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sector Strategy & Market Development
- Develop and execute the Sustainability Sector growth strategy.
- Monitor sustainability, ESG, decarbonisation and green economy trends.
- Identify emerging workforce skills gaps and translate them into learning solutions.
- Build annual sector business plans, growth targets and capability roadmaps.
2. Learning Product & Programme Leadership
- Lead the design, development and lifecycle management of sustainability-related programmes.
- Build competency frameworks, learning pathways and certification programmes.
- Ensure programme relevance through industry engagement and market validation.
- Drive innovation in sustainability learning solutions, including digital and AI-enabled offerings.
3. Industry Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Establish strategic partnerships with enterprises, industry associations, government agencies, consultants and sustainability experts.
- Develop co-created learning solutions aligned to industry needs.
- Identify opportunities for joint initiatives, workforce transformation programmes and capability-building projects.
4. Workforce Transformation & Consulting
- Support organizations in sustainability workforce planning and transformation.
- Develop sector-specific sustainability capability frameworks.
- Lead industry projects, practicums and capstone initiatives that bridge learning with workplace application.
- Advise clients on sustainability capability-building strategies.
5. Commercial & Business Growth
- Own revenue, learner volume and sector growth targets.
- Work closely with the sales teams, both corporate and consumer, to build and manage a robust sales and opportunity pipeline.
- Work closely with enterprise sales and account management teams to drive adoption of sustainability programmes.
- Develop go-to-market plans for new products and strategic initiatives.
6. Stakeholder Management
- Engage senior leaders from enterprises, public sector agencies and ecosystem partners.
- Represent the organization at industry events, forums and sustainability networks.
- Serve as an internal subject matter lead for sustainability-related opportunities.
7. Team Leadership
- Work with cross functional teams of economic cluster and sectoral leads, learning solutionists and training executives to design, development and lifecycle manage sustainability-related programmes across the economy.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing and operations teams.
- Build sustainability capability internally across the organization.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, workforce transformation, learning solutions, consulting or industry development.
- Strong understanding of ESG, sustainability reporting, decarbonisation and green economy trends.
- Experience working with enterprises, government agencies and industry partners.
- Demonstrated business development and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong commercial acumen coupled with workforce development expertise.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and strategic initiatives.
