Position Summary
We are seeking a Head of Strategy to lead institutional positioning, government engagement, and structured capital initiatives. This role is central to Greenlyzer's next phase of growth, strengthening grant acquisition, regulatory alignment, and strategic fundraising while working directly with the CEO on investor and policy engagement.
This is not a marketing role. It is a capital-facing, institution-building role designed to translate deep technology into strategic legitimacy and catalytic support.
The Head of Strategy will drive Greenlyzer's strategic narrative, grant strategy, government relations, and fundraising execution.
The role ensures that Greenlyzer's value proposition is consistently articulated across policy, regulatory, grant, and investor platforms, and that the company is structurally positioned to secure national support mechanisms, R&D funding, and long-term institutional credibility.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Narrative & Institutional Positioning
Continuously distill Greenlyzer's deep-tech value into policy-grade and investor-grade narratives
Develop strategic briefs, white papers, and positioning documents
Align company messaging across grant, regulatory, and fundraising contexts
Support long-term strategic planning and institutional roadmap development
Government & Regulatory Engagement (Priority Focus)
Lead structured engagement with Singapore agencies and ecosystem stakeholders
Identify and secure relevant small business, R&D, decarbonisation, and innovation grants
Coordinate regulatory support pathways and pilot alignment
Track policy developments relevant to hydrogen, distributed energy, and AI infrastructure
Position Greenlyzer within national energy resilience and sustainability narratives
Grant Strategy & Application Management
Lead end-to-end grant application processes
Coordinate technical, financial, and operational inputs for submissions
Manage timelines, compliance requirements, and reporting obligations
Oversee specific grant accounts and milestone tracking
Fundraising & Capital Support
Work directly with CEO in investor engagement and fundraising discussions
Prepare investor materials, strategic decks, and structured data rooms
Manage due diligence processes and information flow
Support development of capital strategy and funding pipeline
Public & Institutional Communication Oversight
Guide thought leadership initiatives (e.g., op-eds, industry commentary)
Oversee institutional website and LinkedIn positioning
Ensure consistency across PR, IR, and government communications
Coordinate with junior PR/MarCom resources where applicable
Qualifications
815 years of experience in corporate strategy, capital markets, government advisory, consulting, investment banking, VC, or high-growth deep-tech companies
Proven experience leading grant applications and securing public-sector funding
Strong familiarity with Singapore's innovation, regulatory, and grant ecosystems preferred
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading fundraising processes
Exceptional structured writing and strategic communication ability
Ability to translate complex engineering concepts into institutional-grade positioning
Experience working directly with founders or C-level leadership
High intellectual discipline and ownership mindset
