About Our Client

Our client is a global financial institution with a strong and growing presence across wealth management, private banking, and asset management in Asia. As part of its continued growth and strategic expansion, the organisation is looking to appoint a Head of Strategy to drive key strategic initiatives across the platform.

This is a high-impact role working closely with senior leadership to shape growth strategy, evaluate new business opportunities, and support strategic partnerships, including M&A and joint ventures across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives across wealth, private banking, and asset management businesses

Partner closely with senior stakeholders to define growth priorities and drive business expansion across regional markets

Evaluate and execute strategic opportunities, including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships

Conduct market assessments, competitive analysis, and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making

Drive end-to-end execution of key projects, from strategy formulation through to implementation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, finance, product) to ensure alignment and delivery of strategic outcomes

Support senior management in preparing strategic materials, business cases, and board-level presentations

Requirements

1218 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, or consulting, ideally with exposure to financial services

Open to candidates from top-tier consulting firms with experience in wealth management, asset management, or banking projects

Strong experience in strategy development, with exposure to M&A, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships

Good understanding of wealth management, private banking, or asset management business models

Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, with the ability to structure complex problems

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leadership

Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
