We are looking for a highly motivated Head of Software Engineering to lead and manage the full software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions, managing multiple projects, and aligning technical initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage software development teams across the full SDLC
- Oversee system architecture, development frameworks, and infrastructure
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery
- Analyze business and user requirements to define technical solutions
- Establish KPIs and monitor team and project performance
- Drive continuous improvement in software quality and processes
- Manage resources, budgets, and operational planning
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business needs
- Identify and work with external technology partners when required
- Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and company policies
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
- Professional certifications (Agile, Scrum, PMP) are an advantage
- Minimum 8-12 years of relevant experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role.
- Proven track record in managing multiple software projects
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Experience in system architecture, application development, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks, platforms, and technologies.
- Knowledge of data protection, cybersecurity, and compliance standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Results-driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
