Responsibilities
- Lead the overall content and SEO strategy across digital platforms, including website, blog, social media, and video, ensuring alignment with business objectives and audience needs.
- Establish and maintain editorial standards covering tone of voice, brand consistency, accuracy, accessibility, and the appropriate use of AI tools.
- Develop content themes, topic structures, and site architecture that improve discoverability and strengthen organic search performance.
- Oversee the editorial calendar and content lifecycle-from planning and briefing to production, optimisation, publishing, and multi-channel distribution.
- Manage and grow the content team by setting annual plans and KPIs, leading hiring and coaching efforts, and implementing efficient workflows and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design/UX, development, and commercial teams to align initiatives, support campaigns, and ensure smooth execution of site updates, migrations, or new launches.
- Guide SEO performance by reviewing search trends, directing content refreshes or consolidation, and working with technical teams to prioritise improvements identified through SEO audits.
- Monitor performance metrics, oversee reporting dashboards, and lead experimentation across content formats, metadata, and publishing strategies to continuously improve results.
- Manage budgets, tools, and external vendors while ensuring compliance with relevant policies such as copyright, approvals, and data privacy.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading SEO and content strategy within a digital marketing, media, or performance-driven environment.
- Must have experience in medical-related marketing.
- Strong expertise in search-driven content planning, editorial management, and on-page optimisation.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, including site structure, internal linking, and collaboration with technical teams on implementation.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with experience using performance metrics and experimentation to guide decisions.
