Working days & hours :
Centre days: 44 hours per week 4 weekday (1030AM-730PM / 1230PM - 930PM) + 1 weekend (830AM - 630PM)
HQ days (Meeting):Weekdays 930AM to 630PM
Working location: Toa Payoh, travel to Woodleigh Mall to support the launch of new classes (including at least one new class) & HQ (Guthrie House - Bukit Timah)
Salary: $5000- $7500

Role Overview: We are hiring a Head of Science (Primary) to lead and strengthen a structured P3P6 Science programme.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining curriculum ownership, teaching, and teacher development. The role operates within an existing programme framework and is responsible for refining, improving, and scaling it to ensure consistent teaching quality and strong student outcomes across centres.

This role is critical in ensuring the programme delivers reliable results beyond individual teachers, with clear ownership over curriculum standards, teaching consistency, and overall programme effectiveness.

We're looking for someone who can take a structured primary science programme, ensure consistent quality, and successfully roll it out across multiple centres.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and refine the P3P6 science curriculum, ensuring alignment with MOE syllabus and PSLE requirements
• Develop structured teaching approaches to ensure consistent lesson delivery
• Monitor student progress and continuously improve programme outcomes
• Engage parents through clear communication on student development
• Support trial classes and contribute to enrolment growth
• Teach 46 classes per week, including at least 1 weekend, with teaching load adjusted as the teaching team expands
• Hire and train teachers to deliver high-quality lessons

Requirement:

• Degree in Science or related field (MOE/NIE-trained preferred
• Minimum 58 years of Primary Science teaching experience.
• Proven track record of improving student outcomes.
• Experience in curriculum development, mentoring, or academic leadership is advantageous.
• Comfortable with weekend work and centre-based environment
