LSBF is seeking a visionary leader to shape the next phase of our School of AI, Technology & Digitalisation (SATD).

This is not a traditional academic management role.

We are looking for an individual who can bridge academia and industry, strengthen LSBF's reputation in the technology ecosystem, and help position the School as a recognised platform for AI, digital innovation, and emerging technologies.

Whether you come from academia, industry, or a combination of both, we want someone who can bring fresh thinking, strategic partnerships, and real-world relevance into the classroom.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Studies, you will provide academic and strategic leadership for LSBF's AI and Computing portfolio.

You will help shape programme direction, ensure academic quality, engage with university partners and regulatory requirements, and represent LSBF across industry, professional and academic platforms.

The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable speaking with students, faculty members, technology leaders, university partners, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

• Provide leadership for AI, Computing and Digital programmes.
• Ensure programme quality, assessment integrity and academic standards.
• Lead curriculum reviews to maintain industry relevance and future-readiness.
• Participate in Academic Board meetings, examination boards and quality assurance activities.
• Work closely with university partners on programme delivery and enhancement.

Industry Engagement & External Relations

• Position LSBF as a recognised contributor within the AI and technology ecosystem.
• Build relationships with technology firms, professional bodies, industry experts and employers.
• Represent LSBF at conferences, industry forums, networking events and thought leadership initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for guest speakers, industry projects, employer engagement and strategic partnerships.
• Promote collaboration with organisations involved in AI, data, cybersecurity, software engineering and emerging technologies.

School Growth & Strategy

• Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of SATD.
• Identify emerging trends that can influence programme development.
• Recommend new programmes, specialisations and training opportunities aligned to industry demand.
• Support student recruitment initiatives through industry talks, webinars and outreach activities.

Faculty & Student Success

• Support and mentor academic staff.
• Contribute to faculty development and teaching excellence.
• Foster a positive and engaging student experience.
• Support student projects, competitions, hackathons and industry engagement activities.

Teaching (Preferred)

Candidates who are able to teach or supervise within areas such as:

• Strong communication, relationship-building and public speaking skills.
• Understanding of higher education quality assurance and academic governance is advantageous.
