Purpose of the JobThe Head of Sales, Singapore & Malaysia is responsible for driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and leading the sales strategy across both markets. The role oversees the sales team, identifies business opportunities, builds key customer relationships, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to strengthen market presence and deliver sustainable business growth. Job Description Sales Strategy & Business Growth
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth across Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Identify new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and potential customer segments to expand market presence.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer needs to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with Finance to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market share.
Sales Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the Singapore and Malaysia sales teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through regular coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
  • Build team capabilities by providing ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Ensure clear goal setting, accountability, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Customer & Account Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Lead negotiations and successfully close commercial agreements with major accounts.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns and provide solutions that meet client needs and business objectives.
Performance Management & Reporting
  • Monitor sales performance through KPIs and business metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans.
  • Analyze sales results and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Manage sales operating budgets and review expenditures to ensure cost effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing and Product Development teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives, product launches, and brand positioning.
  • Ensure sales teams are well-informed and prepared for new product introductions and market developments.
  • Collaborate across functions to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
Compliance & Industry Engagement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade exhibitions, and conferences to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
Job Requirements - Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably managing both Singapore and Malaysia markets.
  • Strong track record of achieving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in key account management, contract negotiations, and business development.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and budget management skills.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between Singapore and Malaysia.
