About The Role

Job Summary

The Sales Director is responsible for leading the sales function within a region or business unit, developing strategies to meet revenue targets, and managing sales teams to ensure high performance. This role collaborates with marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategies and customer engagement.

This job profile is intended for senior leaders that support the mid to long-term (3-5 years) strategy development for their functional area, and have ownership of the short to mid-term (1-3 years) execution of functional strategy/operational direction. Requires ability to communicate with and influence executive leadership. Typically manage multiple teams.

This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business goals.

Lead and manage regional or business unit sales teams.

Build and maintain relationships with key clients.

Monitor sales performance and implement improvements.

Collaborate with marketing and product teams on campaigns and launches.

Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

Drive sales training and talent development.

Skills & Qualifications

Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and 10+ years of relevant work experience are minimally required to be able to manage and coordinate one or more senior expert-level teams.

Proven experience in sales leadership.

Strong strategic thinking and execution skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools.

Ability to lead and inspire teams.
