Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales to lead and scale Finmo's global sales function across key markets. This role is responsible for defining and executing our revenue strategy, building a high-performing sales organisation, and driving sustainable growth across new and existing customer segments.
Operating at the intersection of product, marketing, and partnerships, you will translate Finmo's treasury and payments capabilities into commercially successful sales strategies. You will play a key role in shaping how we engage CFOs, finance teams, and founders across multiple markets.
This is a leadership role suited for someone who is able to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-scaling fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Market Expansion
- Define and lead Finmo's sales strategy across priority markets and customer segments
- Identify target industries, customer profiles, and buyer personas
- Drive market expansion initiatives, including entry into new geographies and segments
- Align sales priorities with overall business goals and product direction
2. Revenue Ownership & Pipeline Management
- Own and deliver revenue targets, pipeline health, and forecasting accuracy
- Establish clear sales metrics and operating cadence across the sales organisation
- Drive consistent pipeline generation across outbound, inbound, and partnership channels
- Ensure disciplined execution across complex and multi-stakeholder sales cycles
3. Sales Organisation Build & Leadership
- Build, structure, and scale the sales team across regions
- Hire, coach, and develop high-performing sales talent
- Define roles, territories, and incentive structures aligned with business growth
- Foster a strong performance culture with clear accountability and execution discipline
4. Sales & Product Alignment
- Partner closely with Product and Marketing to refine value proposition and positioning
- Translate customer insights into actionable feedback to strengthen product-market fit
- Ensure sales messaging is clear, differentiated, and aligned with customer needs
- Support enterprise deal strategy and solution positioning
5. Partnerships & Strategic Deals
- Develop and drive strategic partnerships within the fintech and financial ecosystem
- Lead and support high-value and complex enterprise deals
- Identify new revenue opportunities through partnerships and alliances
- Strengthen Finmo's market positioning through strategic collaborations
6. Execution, Forecasting & Performance Tracking
- Establish robust sales processes, reporting frameworks, and forecasting discipline
- Track and optimise key performance metrics such as pipeline conversion, deal cycles, and win rates
- Continuously refine sales strategies based on data, insights, and market feedback
- Ensure visibility and transparency of sales performance to senior leadership
7. Stakeholder Management & Leadership
- Act as a key commercial partner to senior leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams
- Contribute to strategic decisions related to pricing, packaging, and go-to-market direction
- Represent the sales function in leadership discussions and planning processes
Requirements
- Extensive experience in B2B sales, revenue leadership, or commercial roles, typically 10+ years
- Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams in fintech, payments, SaaS, or related industries
- Strong experience engaging with senior stakeholders such as CFOs, finance teams, or enterprise decision-makers
- Demonstrated ability to own and deliver revenue targets in complex sales environments
- Experience operating across multiple markets is advantageous
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Preferred Experience
- Experience in treasury management, payments, financial infrastructure, or related domains
- Familiarity with regulated environments such as fintech, payments, or banking
- Experience building and scaling sales functions in a growing organisation
- Exposure to both direct and partnership-led sales models
- Experience working in global or distributed teams
