Head of Distribution / Senior Sales (Singapore Fundraising)

Location: Singapore

Company Overview

We are partnering with a Singapore-based fund management company regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), managing investment funds and structures including Variable Capital Companies (VCCs). The firm focuses on delivering alternative investment solutions to accredited and institutional investors and is looking to expand its Singapore fundraising capabilities.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven fundraising professional to lead capital raising efforts within Singapore and drive AUM growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and onboard Singapore-based institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, private banks, wealth managers, insurance platforms, and financial advisors.
  • Develop and execute a clear fundraising strategy to grow Assets Under Management (AUM).
  • Achieve and exceed capital raising targets through fund subscriptions and new client acquisition.
  • Build and deepen relationships with relationship managers (RMs), private banking teams, and distribution partners across Singapore.
  • Present and promote the firm's investment strategies, including hedge funds, VCC sub-funds, and alternative investment products.
  • Provide clients with regular performance updates, market insights, and tailored investment solutions.
  • Ensure fundraising activities comply with MAS regulations and internal governance standards.
  • Collaborate closely with investment, operations, and compliance teams to support smooth client onboarding.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales pipeline, AUM growth, market trends, and competitor landscape.

Requirements

  • Registered Representative with MAS under CMS-licensed fund management activities.
  • Proven track record in raising capital within Singapore from Accredited and Institutional Investors.
  • Strong network across Singapore's private banking, wealth management, insurance, and family office ecosystem.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore's regulatory framework and investor suitability requirements.
  • Familiarity with fund structures such as VCC, Cayman, and other offshore vehicles.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution capability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
