We are hiring Head of Retail (Sales & Operations) to lead retail and e-commerce business. This is a pivotal role for a strategic leader with a passion for driving growth and managing large-scale operations.
The ideal candidate will develop and execute commercial strategy, overseeing all aspects of retail stores, e-commerce channels, and future sales initiatives. You will be responsible for meeting financial targets, ensuring operational excellence, and leading a large, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Create and implement comprehensive commercial strategies to drive market growth and capitalize on new opportunities.
- P&L and Operations Management: Take full ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring all financial targets are met while optimizing productivity and operational efficiency across all retail sites.
- Team Development: Inspire, manage, and mentor a large retail team, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and internal teams like Marketing and Product Development.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize key metrics to monitor business performance, analyze data, and adapt strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading large teams and managing multi-site retail operations.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing P&L and a strong financial acumen.
- Deep knowledge of the retail market in Singapore, including e-commerce.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in wholesale, franchising, or other commercial channels is a plus.
This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive results and align business operations with long-term strategic goals. Travel will be required to support operations across different locations in Singapore.
