The Global Manufacturing and Beauty Operations team delivers manufacturing technology and solutions for the mass production of Dysons innovative product technology through partnership with our design, quality and commercial organisations, as well as with our suppliers and contract manufacturers. Our operations team continuously drives reductions in our supply costs, and improvements in our quality and delivery performance ensuring our products are delivered on time to our customers with the highest standards.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Production Engineering to lead our global production engineering function. This role is critical in driving the industrialisation and scale-up of high-tech consumer products through a network of internal factories, Contract Manufacturers (CMs), and Joint Development Manufacturers (JDMs). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring robust, efficient, and scalable manufacturing processes that meet quality, cost, and delivery targets across multiple sites.
Oversee production engineering, and industrializationacrosscontract manufacturers and JDMs in China, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Dyson has scaled production from4 million to 25 million unitsin the past five years, with increasingmanufacturing complexitydue to proprietary IP, emerging technologies, and evolving supplier partnership models.
Devise and implement leadership optimal strategies, leading the production engineering team, engaging people, providing clear strategies that ensure future readiness, including automation, AI, and other innovation.
DysonsSingapore facilityis aworld-class R&D and manufacturing hub, predominantly staffed by engineers.
Singapore is theglobal HQof Dyson, and Southeast Asia is astrategic regionfor expansion into new categories and markets.
Dysons manufacturing footprint has expanded significantly in recent years, especially inThe Philippines and China, to support rapid growth.
Minimum 10 years of manufacturing engineering, and production engineering leadership experience, with a minimum of 2 years operating at department head of Director level.
Lead mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering teams globally.
Develop and execute production strategies aligned with product roadmaps.
Oversee NPI from EVT to MP, ensuring DFM, DFT, DFC principles are applied.
Manage FAT, SAT, EVT, DVT, andPVT across all sites.
Build strong technical relationships with CMs and JDMs.
Drive capital equipment strategy and factory readiness across geographies.
Implement Six Sigma and lean practices to improve yield, OEE, and cost.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Engineering degree (Bachelors/Masters).
10+ years in manufacturing engineering, 2+ years at Directorlevel.
Proven experience with high-volume consumer products and global manufacturing networks.
Six Sigma Black Belt strong DFX expertise.
Critical leadership competencies
Excellent communicator, with high energy levels, and result-driven orientation.
Multi-national corporations work experiences with strong ability to work across culture.
A natural collaborator, with authentic and coaching leadership style. Demonstrated track record incollaborating with RDD in a highly consumer centric and high technology innovation environment.
