Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Procurement / Logistics Manager / Procurement Executive based in Singapore. The role involves overseeing and managing purchasing activities, evaluating and negotiating supplier contracts, establishing procurement strategies, and ensuring cost-efficiency across the supply chain. The individual will also be responsible for fostering strong supplier relationships, monitoring procurement trends, and implementing best practices to optimize operations. Some remote work arrangements are allowed for this position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Supplier Management and Supplier Evaluation to assess and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Expertise in Contract Negotiation to secure optimal terms and value in procurement agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of Purchasing and Procurement processes for streamlining supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to implement cost-saving measures while ensuring quality standards.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools like procurement systems and supply chain management platforms.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required. Additional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are advantageous.
