Job Description
Our client is an SGX Listed company, headquartered in Singapore with a growing global footprint. As a result of a dynamic external environment and evolving business needs, there is now an opportunity for a progressive Head of Procurement professional to join them.
Role
You will manage a team and lead the procurement (direct and indirect) function across Singapore and operating markets. This includes the establishment and continuous review of overall procurement strategy, ensuring an excellent regional sourcing network/supplier management, establishment and compliance with (revised and improved) group procurement policies that are relevant to the business today, with the ultimate aim of identifying and optimizing cost-saving opportunities, without compromising on quality and service deliveries.
Requirements
Ideally, you are a seasoned professional in procurement, with a minimum of 20 years relevant direct and indirect sourcing experience, ideally gained from progressive organisations and/or in companies with best-in-class procurement function. Preferably, you have managed a procurement spend of between S$500mil to S$1billion in order to appreciate the scale and complexities of the role. You have a proven ability to lead a team (both direct and remote). You are a strong collaborator and work well in a highly fast paced and lean organization.
