Key Responsibilities
1. Business coordination and strategy formulation
- Responsible for the overall management of the company's non-ferrous metals sector, and formulating and implementing annual business plans and medium- and long-term development strategies for spot trading and futures hedging/arbitrage.
- Conduct in-depth research on macroeconomics, industrial policies, and supply and demand relationships to formulate a business model that combines futures and spot trading, ensuring business compliance and achieving profit targets.
2. Spot Trading Management
- Leading the development of domestic and international spot procurement and sales channels for non-ferrous metals, and maintaining core customer relationships with large smelters, traders, and downstream processing enterprises.
- Responsible for negotiating, reviewing, and executing spot contracts, controlling trade risks, and optimizing logistics, warehousing, and supply chain costs.
3. Futures Market Analysis and Risk Management
- Manage futures positions in a coordinated manner and guide the team in hedging operations to mitigate the risk of price fluctuations in spot inventory.
- Capture arbitrage opportunities across timeframes, markets (domestic and international), and commodities to improve capital efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor market risk exposure, strictly implement the company's risk control system, and handle risks under extreme market conditions.
4. Team building and management
- Responsible for building the non-ferrous metals team, talent development, and daily performance evaluation, creating a composite team with both spot trading and futures trading capabilities.
- Organize daily market analysis meetings to share market insights and coordinate the collaboration between traders and spot sales staff.
5. Market Research and Analysis
- Lead the team to track key data and form an effective basis for trading decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, with priority given to majors in finance, economics, international trade or metallurgy.
- Over 10 years of experience in the non-ferrous metals industry, over 5 years of team management experience, and mature upstream and downstream customer resources.
- Priority will be given to candidates with work experience in the supply and marketing departments of large international commodity trading companies, non-ferrous metal smelting enterprises, or risk management subsidiaries of futures companies.
- Proficient in non-ferrous metal spot trading processes and familiar with tax and logistics rules.
- Possess solid theoretical knowledge of futures trading and practical experience, be familiar with hedging accounting, and be able to independently design hedging strategies.
- Possesses keen data analysis skills and is proficient in using Excel or programming tools for fundamental and spread analysis.
- Extremely strong resilience and decision-making ability, able to adapt to fast-paced and highly volatile market environments.
- Possesses excellent business negotiation skills and English proficiency.
- Has no adverse employment record, is honest, and possesses good professional ethics and risk awareness.
