In this key leadership position, you will take total ownership of the regional NDF trading desk, driving strategy, desk profitability, and product capability.

• Drive Strategic Growth: Partner with global HQ and regional executive leadership to refine and scale the NDF offering, carving out a sharp competitive edge.
• Client Engagement: Travel to global HQ periodically to engage with key institutional clients and key stakeholders.
• Risk & Governance: Oversaw credit proposals that strike the right balance between aggressive revenue growth, firm-wide risk appetite, and evolving regulatory mandates.
• P&L & Platform Ownership: Truly own the NDF franchise—build, structure, and scale the desk around your strategy and market vision.

skills and experience required

• Proven Trading Track Record: 10 years in Trading, Substantial market-making experience in FX, with a primary focus on Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDFs).
• Regional Market Expertise: Deep operational trading knowledge of Asian NDF markets (e.g., KRW, INR, TWD).
• Quantitative & E-Trading: Hands-on experience with electronic pricing engines, automated risk management, and yield curve modeling.
• Trading Capabilities: Demonstrated success spanning both flow and proprietary/directional trading strategies.
• Leadership & Vision: Strong ownership mindset with the desire to build a premier franchise from the ground up.
• Collaboration: Highly collaborative leader capable of working seamlessly across sales, risk, and technology functions.
