ROLE OVERVIEW

The Head of Membership Acquisition is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for driving membership growth at Mandala Club.

This position owns all new member acquisition targets, including joining fee revenue and annualised membership revenue. The role leads the membership sales function with full accountability for pipeline performance, conversion rates, and forecast accuracy.

This is a high-profile revenue-generating role that combines strategic sales leadership with relationship-building across influential individuals. The person in this role represents the Mandala Club brand and must balance commercial results with maintaining Mandala's brand standards and member experience.

KEY OBJECTIVES & DELIVERABLES.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Revenue & Commercial Ownership

  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual net new member targets
  • Achieve joining fee revenue targets
  • Drive annualised membership revenue growth
  • Maintain conversion rates across the full sales funnel
  • Ensure accurate pipeline forecasting and budget alignment

High-Value Sales Leadership

  • Lead and manage the membership acquisition team
  • Set individual sales targets and hold team members accountable
  • Ensure structured outreach and pipeline management
  • Develop strategies to attract high-quality members through targeted campaigns, events, and networks
  • Leverage member networks, referrals, and structured acquisition funnels to generate high-potential leads

Pipeline Discipline & Reporting

  • Maintain a disciplined, measurable sales pipeline
  • Conduct weekly performance reviews and pipeline updates
  • Report monthly on revenue performance, conversion rates, and forecast accuracy
  • Implement corrective actions when targets are not met
  • Review and approve sales team's commission calculation

Market & Relationship Development

  • Build and maintain credibility with membership prospects
  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospective members, conveying the value of Mandala Club membership
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and competitor activity
  • Represent Mandala professionally at external events and networking opportunities

KPIs

The Head of Membership Acquisition will be measured against clear, quantifiable performance metrics, including monthly net new members, joining fee revenue, annualised membership revenue added, sales conversion rates, and pipeline value versus target. Additional accountability includes weekly pipeline reporting, individual target attainment across the team, forecast accuracy, and budget delivery. These KPIs ensure commercial discipline while driving membership growth.
