Head of Marketing Singapore

Refactor. are working with a global, publicly listed FinTech with a long-standing reputation in trading and investing is rebuilding and re-accelerating its Singapore marketing leadership.
You'll lead marketing for Singapore across two product streams:
- A mature, established trading/derivatives business
- A newer, mass-market investing proposition (stocks, ETFs, crypto and more)
This is a senior, outcomes-driven role accountable for full funnel growth and commercial results.
The mandate
You own the funnel end-to-end:
Brand awareness acquisition engagement retention revenue.
This isn't soft marketing or purely ATL brand work. You'll be measured on commercial outcomes customer growth, retention, and incremental revenue contribution.
The nuance that matters
This role is regionalised and matrixed.
There is strong central capability across martech, performance, analytics and CRM. Locally, you are expected to:
- Set the Singapore strategy and priorities
- Define requirements and provide market insight for central execution
- Run highly localised, market-specific activations and partnerships
- Collaborate across central teams, local leadership, sales, product and client servicing
- Still own the outcome even when you don't control every lever
You'll suit this role if you can balance:
- Speed + structure (move fast without creating chaos)
- Autonomy + collaboration (lead decisively, partner effectively)
- Strategy + sleeves-up execution (happy to dig in when needed)
What you'll do
- Lead marketing strategy across Singapore, aligned to global brand direction
- Own budget planning, resource allocation and ROI
- Drive growth for the mass-market investing product while continuing to scale the core trading/CFD business
- Build integrated plans across digital, affiliates, social, PR, partnerships and offline
- Manage agencies for creative, comms and media
- Work closely with sales, client servicing and product to ensure marketing supports commercial goals
- Lead and develop an 810 person team in a hybrid structure (product and functional leads)
- Uphold compliance and brand governance in a regulated environment
What you'll bring
- 10+ years in financial services or fintech marketing (trading/investing strongly preferred)
- 3+ years leading teams and budgets in a performance-accountable environment
- Strong full-funnel capability (brand + acquisition + lifecycle/retention)
- Commercial mindset you can talk CAC, conversion, retention and revenue impact with confidence
- Experience operating in a multinational / multi-country setup with shared services and dependencies
- Singapore market experience is important (you don't need to be Singaporean, but you must know the market)
- Bonus: wider SEA exposure (MY/TH/ID/HK/TW etc.)
