This is a new role for Mars Veterinary Health (MVH) Rapid Growth Markets.
The Head of Marketing, MVH RGM will drive overall MVH RGM success through marketing efforts, leveraging customer insights to drive a premium client experience in our industry. S/He is accountable for creation and execution of organic growth initiatives, customer acquisition and retention. The Head of Marketing, MVH RGM will collaborate with central functions to develop overall marketing strategies for MVH RGM and its markets.
Key focus of this role is leading future demand generation for clinical services. This role will:
- Work closely with Regional Leadership, General Managers and market teams to deliver one RGM plan.
- Drive strong collaboration with cross-functional teams as well as market team to gain strong support.
- Build high engagement with Asia leadership team to gain sponsorship and endorsement.
- Leverage external parties and insights to deliver future-forward consumer-led plan.
About Our Role:
The successful candidate will:
- Drive the development and execution of MVH RGM's marketing strategy throughout the client marketing funnel, from awareness and engagement to loyalty.
- Responsible for developing/ reporting customer insights and driving them to action.
- Ensure MVH RGM is on a path towards customer centricity by representing the customers view in new and ongoing projects to deliver our marketing strategy while achieving our KPI's.
- Analyse and adapt various pet parent journeys through their interactions with MVH banners, identify the key golden moments and pain points, create solutions in collaboration with Operations.
- Own the MVH RGM marketing budget and track performance.
- Manage the relationship, capture market specifics, and provide customer insights with the Marketing resources across RGM markets.
- Develop the branding and communication strategy for each market.
- Co-create annual marketing plan with local market teams and Regional Leadership team, including any promotional campaigns and new product introductions e.g., wellness plans.
- Together with medical leadership, drive the pricing strategy and execution in each market.
- Coordinate with other Mars Petcare / Mars Veterinary Health Units to share best practices and insights.
- Drive a user centric approach within the marketing community at MVH RGM.
- Ascertain compliance to all MVH endorsed platforms and guidelines.
- Drive optimization agenda within MVH RGM markets.
- Role model Leader and Line Manager, ensuring high engagement and performance. Live and exemplify the Great Line Management (GLM) concept within self and team.
- Influence leadership in deploying priority Petcare and MVH initiatives.
- Other assigned duties.
Who are we looking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in additional Asian language(s) is highly preferred.
- Minimally 10+ years Marketing experience with prior full budget ownership, people leadership and member of a leadership/senior management team.
- Proven experience in demand generation in a B2C services business (e.g., healthcare)
- Successful experience in brand building capability within an organization.
- Prior experience in data-driven media approach is expected.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
- Ability to set and achieve goals and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to create strong relationships across internal teams and external partners.
